I feel really good about our first home. It’s cozy, it’s bright, it’s comfortable, and it’s unique.

We have been blessed by so many generous friends + family who showered us with goodies to get this little place set up. God provided the means to live in and decorate this apartment, and I am so grateful. We hope to have lots and lots of company over during our time in St. Louis.

  1. Natalie,

It’s so wonderful to see your bright and creative apartment and hear you feel so at home in it! Enjoy the memories you make there 🙂

  2. “I feel really good about our first home. It’s cozy, it’s bright, it’s comfortable, and it’s unique.” You forgot to add that it’s SOOO CUTE!!! Awesome job decorating!!

  3. David and I looked at these together and he said, “this place just screams natalie”. It definitely does, and i love how everything has come together! Maybe we can make a trip there this summer and help fulfill your desire to have lots of visitors 🙂

  4. The mix and match of stores + the cohesive overall look = so perfect! Love the teal/turquoise/aquamarine, too. Other faves: the mid-century mod style on your counter, your shower curtain, and the tall target lamp. Oh, and we use the same dish soap. 🙂

What is the name of the paint on your table? We have an thrifted table I’ve been thinking about painting if we have room for it in our new place! Did you sand first?

    1. we didn’t sand first, though I realize we should have. I think we also should have put a sealer on, too, because it’s already chipping… so, I guess we’re going to shabby chic these days? anyways, it’s Mirage Lake by Behr!

  5. We always envy you guys and how epic you are with this sort of stuff. We’re moving soon, so maybe we’ll have a cool place like yours (or maybe not =)). Thanks for sharing!

  6. thanks, friends, for all the sweet comments! it’s been way fun to combine our mismatched things into such a colorful, quirky space for us to live!
