paint sample garland

I made a paint sample garland for our living room. It’s easy and fun.

1. Collect paint samples.
2. Trim them into triangles.
3. Punch two holes at the wide part of the triangle.
4. String twine through.

The store I went to only had paint samples in the shape of rectangles with rounded edges. Because of the funky shape, I had quite a few scraps. I scattered them on a thrifted and painted tray, along with Taiwanese coins, and put a cut piece of plexiglass on top. It looks kind of 80s, no?
