Haiti On My Mind

Here’s a true statement:

I looked into volunteering at several orphanages in Haiti days before the earthquake. And even when the earthquake hit, I still felt as though that was where God was calling me. But many of those doors were shut, and somewhere along the way a door to Taiwan was opened. I still think about how this summer would have been if I were there. And I still think about those people — and all those newly orphaned children — often.

Don’t forget Haiti.

“Where is your hope?”

“Only in God.”
