Two adoptive families are here right now, waiting to bring their children home.
They spent a full day in Taipei at the government offices to finalize their adoptions, and both had issues that arose. Neither child has a visa as of tonight, and one family was scheduled to fly out tomorrow night. These hold-ups don’t happen often, and each case as some special circumstances surrounding them that have complicated things.
Please pray for speed on the part of both the U.S. and Taiwan governments, so that the babies’ visas are granted quickly. Please also pray for peace for the families as they wait to see what will happen.
God is good, and He is in control.
Today marks the halfway point of my time in Taiwan. And I get a day off tomorrow! More later.
